Today’s word is “Live”.
I heard the Lord say, “Live, enjoy life, for when doing so you enjoy Me. I AM your life and I give life abundantly. Do not let the cares of this world weigh you down, do not let them overtake you. Give them to Me so that you may LIVE. When you allow the enemy a foothold, he will attempt to destroy all you hold dear. Shake him off and LIVE. I did not come so you could walk in this world downtrodden and defeated. My Heart is breaking for My children who live life beaten down and doubtful of their measure of faith. I AM abundant life, I AM the giver of life, I AM your life. All you need is a measure of faith, come to Me and I will remove the lens of circumstance from your sight so that you may see clearly the path of living and choose life.”
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly (John 10:10 NKJV).
Wow, what an awesome word! And also, what a great reminder of the message my pastor preached on Sunday – love, love, love how God works. Church, are you really living? Are you? If not, why not?

Today’s word is “Remember your position”.
I hear the Lord say “Remember your position, who you are in Me. You are My Righteousness. I see the burdens you carry, I know your heart and I know that too often, you forget who you are. I AM reminding you as you stand before Me that I no longer see your sin, I see My Son. You are clothed in the wardrobe of Christ, you have been forgiven. Your sins are removed as your heart has been laid bare before Me. Do not be led astray by condemnation and man’s dictates of who you are. Be attuned to My heart, for My heart will never lead you astray, nor will My heart burden you with guilt. You are My Righteousness, stand tall and stand firm, know that I Am with you always.”
This includes you who were once far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions. Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault (Colossians 1:21-22 New Living Translation).
Freedom is Worth Fighting For
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2 New King James Version).
I’m not much of a Sci-fi buff, but one of my favorite movie trilogies is The Matrix. I’ve seen all three a few times, and while I did not quite “get it” at first, it was airing on a cable channel not too long ago and this time I think I “got it.” As I watched the first movie for the first time in a few years, I was struck by the analogy of humans being used to power a super computer. In one scene there were endless pods, vertically and horizontally, each filled with a human plugged in and growing from infancy with the plug as the umbilical cord. It was explained that existence wasn’t really existence in the Matrix, as everything known was not as it seemed to be. Truth could be had by taking the red pill, and discovering actual reality. Joining the resistance meant one was really living despite the conditions; freedom was worth the fight.
As I watched the movie, the Holy Spirit began to reveal some things to me. We must cling ever tighter to Christ and lean on His Word for wisdom and understanding. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life; to deviate from this puts us in danger. While The Matrix is a story, if we are not careful, we will wake up one day and realize we are no longer in control of our lives. Every day there is news of more encroachment into our freedoms to make us into someone else’s ideal of who we should be, and every day, we give them more of ourselves.
We live in a world where we have a common enemy. We are not to dwell on him, but we must be aware of his moves and how he works. He’s sneaky and conniving, Jesus called him the father of all lies. I’m not attempting to be political, however, there is governmental encroachment into our lives and we allow it. Government seeps into our lives a little at a time. If we don’t stop the leak, before we know it, we’ve got no control over anything. There will be no perfect uniqueness in our individuality, only uniformity and conformity to government standards.
Church, we must wake up! This is not the time to sleep and wait for someone else to do something, to let someone else handle what we are capable of handling ourselves. Don’t believe the lie that one person isn’t significant enough to do anything. Read your Bible, it is filled with examples of one person standing up for many and being victorious. Oh, we often quote “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4 NKJV)“, but we behave as if we don’t believe it for ourselves.
Freedom is worth fighting for. Jesus thought so, He came to set the captives free, and He has set us free by His death and resurrection. It is time to stand up and speak out. This country is run by purveyors of fear and greed, enforcing the belief that we are not capable of making sound decisions without their input, and they have stuck their hands in most aspects of family life with the intention of tearing families apart. Government and greed have infiltrated our food supply, our schools, our churches, our workplaces, our finances and our health. Fight back, freedom is worth fighting for.
Our battle does not need to be big and dramatic. It starts at home. We must research everything, and not trust something just because we’re told to, we must ask God for wisdom to make decisions. We must teach our children the ways of God, teach them how to stand up for what they believe in and give them something to believe in. Teach them how to fend for themselves and work hard, to celebrate the benefit of the fruits of their labor. Teach them to pray and trust God. Teach them to be available for God to use them. Teach them to cook, clean, have respect and love for others, and a desire to keep learning. We must pay attention to what is in our food and what we feed our children, it’s surprising and disgusting to discover how many governmentally allowed chemicals are in our food. If it’s chemically enhanced, don’t eat it. Stand up for an education system where teachers teach and students learn; government should not dictate how, when and what our children should learn. We are our family’s advocate and Jesus is ours. If we don’t stand up and push back now, future generations will face a choice – perhaps to decide whether or not to take the red pill. Freedom is worth fighting for.

Today’s word is “Restore and Re-purpose.”
I saw a piece of wood furniture – battered, chipped and peeling paint, missing hardware, broken legs, various pieces hanging off it. It was dirty and very dingy. At first glance, it looked as though it was worth absolutely nothing and the best place for it was a refuse heap. It was barely recognizable as a piece of furniture. Then, I saw the Carpenter inspect the piece. He hummed to Himself and carefully picked up the piece and carried it to His workbench. I watched Him remove drawers and doors, hardware and legs. He carefully sanded it down, removing the chipped paint. He took pieces of wood and fashioned new doors, drawers and legs for it, and painstakingly attached them to the piece with new hardware. After He had fixed the broken and battered piece of furniture, He painted it. The color is so vibrantly bright, and there is no color like it on earth – it seemed to be shades of amber, blue, gold and red, almost iridescent, but not quite. My human eyes cannot describe it’s exact shade. The Carpenter had restored the piece of furniture and re-purposed it to be more useful than it had originally been.
I heard the Lord say “Behold, I make all things new. Though this world has beaten you down, chipped your spirit, broken your usefulness, I will restore you to the person I created you to be. Come alongside Me and partner with Me in this work I AM doing in you and through you. I have a greater purpose for you than what you have ordained for yourself, and I desire to see My purpose in you fulfilled. You are worthy of My love, do not listen to what this world tells you. You are My child and I have a place for you. Return you heart to Me, allow Me to work My love in you to restore and re-purpose you.”
You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but you will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth (Psalm 71:20 New Living Translation).
This morning I heard the Lord say “Stand”. I also began to hear a phrase, and this phrase kept repeating itself, which is always a clear indication to me that this is the pivotal point in the message or picture God is sharing.
“Be careful little ears what you hear.” I see a picture of a soldier in full armor, with raised shield and sword, standing ready for battle. His helmet appears to include something covering his ears. I sense this is not to protect the flesh of his ears, but his hearing.
For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will reject the truth and chase after myths (2 Timothy 4:3-4 New Living Translation).
In order for us to stand firm on the foundation that is Christ, we must be very careful of what we hear. We have an enemy and he is out to destroy us. At the very least, he desires to redirect our paths and lead us away from God. He will do whatever he needs to do in order to accomplish this. When a soldier goes into battle, he needs to hear the orders of his particular Captain. He must be careful, and pay close attention to what he is listening to in order to follow the orders he is given. Jesus said His sheep know His voice. Do you truly know the voice of your Shepherd? Would you be able to distinguish it from all the other voices vying for your attention?
This is what I hear the Lord saying: “Be careful little ears what you hear. Many are coming, yea, they have come to distract your walk by telling you things that seem to be true. I tell you, be careful little ears what you hear. Test all things whispered in your ears. I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life, do not move unless I direct your steps. Stand firm and do not follow the word whispered in your ears. Ask Me for direction and I will show you. Ask Me for wisdom and I will grant it. Ask Me for discernment and it will be yours. The time is coming when you will face a cacophony of voices, tune your ears to My voice and follow its resonance to perfect peace. Be careful little ears what you hear.”
Today’s word is “Heartbeat”.
Last week, the Lord began to paint a picture in my mind. I saw an unborn baby, and heard its heart beating in sync with its mother. Being a mother, I know in the natural, a baby’s heart beat is faster than mine, but we are looking at this from a spiritual perspective. I saw the two hearts beating and felt the love of the child for the mother and the mother for the child. In this picture, the love between the two is tangible. Then, the birthing process begins, and in the birthing process the hearts fall out of sync. I now can feel the pain which birth causes. After a time, the child is born and placed on the mother’s chest. Where their hearts were out of sync momentarily, they have now caught each others rhythm and started beating as one again.
I hear the Lord say “When you abide in Me, your heart beats with Mine and My heart beat is the rhythm I desire you to flow in and follow. My heart is filled with love for you and there is nothing I AM not able to do for you, if your heart is in sync with Mine. Often, the greatest joy is born from the deepest pain, but keep your heart in rhythm with mine and watch how I bring glory to Myself through you.”
I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing (John 15:5 NKJV).
As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love (John 15:9).
