Our church is hosting a healing prayer service on Good Friday. I love these particular services, not only because I get to minister but because of the testimonies of God’s faithful, miracle working, and wondrous power we hear from those who attend.

As I’ve been praying this week I have distinctly heard Papa speak about two things.

1.) Resurrection. And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;  and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many” (Matthew 27:50-53 NKJV). When Jesus died, the dead were raised. As we reflect on what Jesus’ death on the cross bought for us, and pray for those who need healing, Papa is going to resurrect that which people thought were dead. Hopes, dreams, previous prophesies, their spirits, relationships, etc., are going to be resurrected and made vibrantly alive. We will not only hear testimonies of physical healing, but also of spiritual healing. I’m so excited about this!

2.) Revival. Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the Lord, till He comes and rains righteousness on you” (Hosea 10:12 NKJV). We are in for an amazing resurrection weekend. We are on the cusp of something and Papa is continuously speaking. He doesn’t want any more spectators who just “do” church, He is looking for kingdom advancement “as” church. Spring is here in the natural, its fight with winter to relinquish its hold can often be nasty. Yet, spring always wins. New growth, new life and overall newness is a testament to what Papa is doing in the spirit. There is revival coming, it will start individually and like the ripple on the water, it will spread.

People will not only have that which they thought was dead resurrected, but they will be revived in spirit and ready to march under the banner of Christ!
